Edit Your Device's Continuous Recording Settings From Your Dashboard
Customers have the ability to edit their device's continuous recording settings manually through their online dashboard. This can be helpful if you are unable to Request Footage via VTS or Request Footage via View/View Pro on your own after hours to prevent the video footage from being filmed over during the retrieval process.
We want to assure you that, even though your vehicle will not be continuously recording footage, the vehicle will continue to save all low, medium, and high events that occur. These settings can be reenabled manually at any time. Please follow the video and written steps below to learn how to adjust continuous recording settings.

VTS/Travido: Turn Off/On Continuous Recording
1. Search for your device
Log into your SureCam Online Platform and select 'List Devices' in the top left corner. This will take you to a list of your vehicles and their associated connected camera devices. Click the checkmark on the row of the device you would like to select. This will filter your results to only the vehicle you wish to edit. Next, simply click through the device serial number which is located next to the box you have previously marked to select that vehicle.
2. Access your device's configuration settings
Once you have selected your desired device, you will be taken to the following screen. In the lower right-hand side of the page, you will select the button titled 'Configuration' to be taken to your device settings page where you can edit your recording preferences.
3. Select configuration request
Here you will be able to see your device's currently enabled settings. In order to make changes, select the button labeled 'Configuration Request' located in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
4. Edit continuous recording
When you scroll down the 'Continuous recordings' section in your device settings, you will notice a check box for each camera associated with that particular vehicle. For vehicles with more than one camera listed, 'Camera 1' will refer to the vehicle's exterior camera, while 'Camera 2' will refer to the vehicle's interior camera.
Simply click the desired checkbox to edit the device's continuous recording settings. Removing the check will disable continuous recording for that camera while adding the check reenables continuous recording settings.
5. Save your settings
To save your desired settings, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click 'Save'. Be sure to either manually reenable your recording settings or reach out to a support agent for assistance to restore device recording after the desired footage has been located.

View/View Pro Device Configuration
The SureCam team is currently in the process of updating our software platforms to allow for additional features for our View/View Pro clients without navigating to a separate site. In the meantime, you will need to navigate to vts.surecam.com (VTS) to change continuous recording settings.

Note: Your VTS login credentials are the same as your SureCam Plus (Applications tab) login credentials. If you've forgotten your SureCam Plus password, you can click Forgot password? to receive a password reset email. |

View/View Pro: Turn Off/On Continuous Recording
1. Navigate to vts.surecam.com (VTS)
2. Sign in using your SureCam Plus (Applications tab) login credentials from the View/View Pro platform.
3. Search for your device

SureCam View/ View Pro: Turn Off/On Continuous Recording

Navigate to the settings tab on view.surecam.com

Click on the drop-down menu and select “devices”.

Locate the device you are wanting to turn off continuous recording for.

On the right hand side, click on the pencil icon and choose suspend recording.

Then select the red button that says “suspend recording”.
- Please note that this will suspend recording for this specific device for 24 hours.
