After removing the SD card and attempting to download footage, users sometimes notice that the timezone on the manually uploaded video differs from the timezone in which their vehicle was operating. This is because all manually pulled footage is automatically timestamped in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Adjustments should be made to narrow footage to your specific time zone. Our chart below should help in locating footage in your specific time zone.
Time Zone Adjustments:
US Time Zones:
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is 6 hours ahead of US Central Standard Time (CST)
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is 5 hours ahead of US Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is 7 hours ahead of US Mountain Time (MT)
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is 8 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time (PST)
European Time Zones:
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is 1 hour behind Central European Time (CET)
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is 2 hours behind Eastern European Time (EET)
Coordinated Universal Time (UCT) is equivalent to Western European Time (WET)
